Q: How long will custom orders take?
A: When you place your order, I will give you an estimated time frame. If you order a pair with a natural color as a base, it will take less time, as I make natural colored dreads in bulk and have lots on hand. Many factors will decide how long your order will take, such as how many orders I have before yours, whether or not I have the colors you want in stock, etc. A rough overall estimate would be 2-4 weeks.
Q. What are my falls made of?
A: I only use the best materials availiable. I do not use jumbo braid, as I think it makes dreads puffy and messy looking. I use silky straight kanakelon braid for dreads and many other materials, such as rexlace and diferent kinds of ribbon for accents. For loose falls, I use a mix of yaki pony and silky kanekelon braid for a more textured look.
Q: What makes your dreads better than the next guys?
A: I have secret, unique methods of steaming and sealing my dreads. My dreads are all double steamed and backcombed. I am a bit of a perfectionist and will not sell anything until I feel that it is indestructable. I also prefer to use single ended dreads. It is a little more time consuming, but I feel it gives more room to add oomph to each hair piece and the quality of each individual dread is easier to assure.
Q: How much will they cost me?
A: That all depends on what you want. I work with each customer individually to get their hair pieces just right, down to the very last detail. The base cost for custom made falls is listed in the pricing section of the website.
